Expulsion processes against 12 deputies are extended

Brasília – Yesterday a vote on the floor of the Chamber of Deputies extended the time limit on the expulsion processes against 12 deputies for 90 days. It was expected that the processes would end by mid-January. According to the president of the Ethics Council, where the processes are being dealt with, the extra time is necessary to complete the council's work.

The deputies facing expulsion for infringing parliamentary rules of behavior are: João Magno (PT-MG), João Paulo Cunha (PT-SP), José Janene (PP-PR), José Mentor (PT-SP), Josias Gomes (PT-BA), Onyx Lorenzoni (PFL-RS), Pedro Corrêa (PP-PE), Pedro Henry (PP-MT), Professor Luizinho (PT-SP), Roberto Brant (PFL-MG), Vadão Gomes (PP-SP) and Wanderval Santos (PL-SP).
