Brasília, June 5, 2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - An exchange of experiences about regulation and supervision of public services executed by concessionaries in Brazil and the United States is the theme of the Aneel-Papuc Seminar, which will run through Friday (6) at Aneel (National Electric Energy Agency) headquarters in Brasília.
The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Papuc), the agency that regulates public services in the state of Pennsylvania, in the United States, is Aneel's partner in the Energy Cooperation Program, administered by the United States Energy Association (USEA) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
As part of the agenda, technical experts from Aneel and Papuc will discuss technical aspects involved in the sale and distribution of energy, quality indicators, and electric service and economic and financial supervision, among other topics. (DAS)
