Brasília - Representatives of Brazil and Argentina, meeting at the Brazilian Ministry of Health, will begin discussions today on a project for the construction of a pharmaceutical unit to manufacture drugs and diagnostic kits for various diseases. The unit will be built in Argentina with the costs divided between the two nations.

The discussions are the result of an understanding reached between presidents Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Nestor Kirchner last week during an official visit by Kirchner to Brazil.
