São Paulo, 7 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Minister of Science and Technology, Ronaldo Sardenberg, reports that 50% of all science and technology production in Brazil occurs in the state of São Paulo. Sardenberg said yesterday that was the result of an injection of R$550 million (US$211.2 million) by the federal government in the state, 30% of the ministry's budget in 2001. (AB)
