Brasília, 12/6/2002 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Next Saturday, December 14, president-elect, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and vice president-elect, José Alencar, will receive diplomas (serão diplomados) from the Election Board (Tribunal Superior Eleitoral) certifying judicial sanction of their election victory in October. The ceremony will last approximately an hour and will include speeches by the chief justice of the board, Nelson Jobim, and president-elect, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. (AB)
