Brasília, 1 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Ministry of Justice has announced that by the end of August it will install a nationwide data bank on stolen cargo with information on police bulletins, cargoes, victims, vehicles involved, suspects and even merchandise recovered.

With the system it will be possible for police to crosscheck information with other data banks, such as vehicle registration, public security and weapons. The system will also permit authorities to map out locations with higher incidence of cargo robberies, direct police action to those locations and earmark funding for them. (AB)
