São Paulo, 1 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Over the last few years, ecotourism has grown in Brazil, mainly recreational fishing. "During the Cardoso administration, fishing has grown 60%," reported on Friday the minister of Sports and Tourism, Caio de Carvalho, explaining that the country has 40 national parks, 14 of them capable of receiving fishermen. "Our project is to increase that by 20% over the next 2 years, bringing them up to par so both Brazilian and foreign fishermen can use them." (AB)
