Amaral wants service sector to boost its exports

Rio, 1 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, Sérgio Amaral, pointing out that Brazil's services sector accounts for over 50% of GDP, but less than 1% of the world's trade (which totals US$1.5 trillion annually), launched last Friday the Special Program for Services Exports which will create a total of 33 sectorial offices to examine the reasons the sector does not export more. 18 of the offices will be managed by the private sector, the rest by the government.
