Brasília, 13 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Brazilian and Portuguese governments signed yesterday (12) a cooperation protocol to combat the consumption of illegal drugs and psychotropic substances. The document was signed by the National Anti-Drugs secretary, Paulo Roberto Uchoa, and the minister of Health of Portugal, Luís Felipe Pereira. The agreement will guarantee, during three years, annual resources of 125 thousand Euros.
The money will be used by the National Anti-Drugs Secretariat (Senad) to improve the Brazilian Observatory of Information on Drugs, an Internet website that will join, organize and release information on drugs. According to Uchoa, the website will be a big databank workin in partnership with Portugal. (WPS)
