Indonesian mission takes a look at Brazil's AIDS program

Brasília - A mission from Indonesia, consisting of doctors, congressmen, representatives of the country's Narcotics Commission and healthcare technicians are visiting Brazil to take a close look at Brazil's AIDS program and especially how it deals with drug users. Today the mission will meet with Pedro Chequer, the director of the AIDS/Sexually Transmitted Disease program at the Ministry of Health.

The Indonesians will discuss the problems of access to antiretroviral drugs, damage reduction, prevention and financing.

This afternoon the Indonesian mission will visit the Congress and meet with members of the Brazilian Parliamentary Front for AIDS/HIV, which is led by deputy Telma Souza (PT-SP).
