Brazil and China enlarge technological partnership

Brasília, April 15, 2004 (Agência Brasil) - By the end of this month Brazil and China will enlarge their scientific and technological partnership with the inauguration of the Sino-Brazilian software internationalization center. The TecOut Center will be installed in Campina Grande, in the state of Paraíba, Northeast Brazil, and will occupy an area of 350 square meters.

The center will provide specialized services for the execution of market surveys, adaptation of products, hiring of qualified personnel, testing, training, and organization of events, among other activities.

The partnership from which this unprecedented endeavor arose involves the Ministry of Science and Technology (MCT), the Softex Society, and the Paraíba Technological Park Foundation. On the Chinese side the participants include the MOST (Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology), the ICT (Information Communication Technology China), and the Zhaoqing Information Industry Bureau.
