Brasília, May 19, 2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Today, President Luiz Inãcio Lula da Silva is holding the fourth meeting of his Cabinet since he took over the Presidency. The meeting will provide the President an opportunity to make an assessment of his Administration's first four months and discuss the chief activities to be carried out by the Ministries in coming months. The President and Ministers will also discuss the Pluriannual Plan, which sets out the chief measures to be implemented in the country over the next four years. Among President Lula's priorities are sanitation projects in the Northeast, as well as activities to promote health and education in the country. The Minister of Labor, Jaques Wagner, will use the opportunity to present the final format of the First Job Program, which, even though it still does not have a definite starting date, will be one of President Lula's chief programs in the area of making it easier for young people to enter the job market.
