Brasília, 18 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Ministry of Justice released a note yesterday (17) on the measures it is taking with regard to the presence of former Paraguayan general Lino Oviedo in Brazil. According to the note, Oviedo has been notified that "the exercise of political activities in Brazil, especially those constituting a threat to political stability in a neighboring country, or activities against a neighboring government, is not permitted." The note refers to Law 6,815 which allows the government to deport foreigners who engage in political activities. (AB)
