Brasília, 16 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Secretariat of Human Rights at the Ministry of Justice and the French embassy are sponsoring a seminar, Human Rights, Violence and Public Security. According to the secretary of Human Rights, Paulo Sergio Pinheiro, one result of the endeavor could be an exchange program with the French Sociological Research Center on Law and Penal Institutions (Cesdip).

Pinheiro said that although the Ministry of Justice does research on human traffic and violence among youths, it would be interesting to have the Cesdip assist the Human Rights secretariat. (AB)
