Brasília, 4 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Speaking at a lunch for the president of Mexico, Vicente Fox, president Fernando Henrique Cardoso declared yesterday that Brazil and Mexico are capable of criticizing and benefitting from globalization. Because of the size of our economies, said Cardoso, we have the right to call for corrections in international trade and finance.

Cardoso also emphasized the importance of the presence of Fox at the Mercosur Summit which begins this week in Buenos Aires, saying it is of great significance and reflects the spirit of cooperation which comes from the belief that trade should be good for everyone. (AB)
