Brasília, 4 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Future partnership endeavors in education joining Brazil and Angola were discussed at a meeting yesterday between minister of Education, Paulo Renato Souza, and a commission from Angola. According to the director of the Angola Department of Education, Jaime Franco, there are one million children between the ages of 6 and 14 out of school and an urgent need for training of citizens and social development.

Franco explained that Brazil is a logical partner in cooperation programs, as both countries speak the same language. "We are interested in Brazilian experience which can help us in education reform, the lack of technical training, late-entry students and social exclusion. (AB)
