Rio, 4 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The presidents of the Brazilian Patent Institute (Inpi), José Graça Aranha, and the European Patent Office, Ingo Koker, announced yesterday that an agreement will be signed allowing Brazilian user access to the 90 million documents at the European office. Graça Aranha made the announcement at a Latin American meeting on information in patent documents, sponsored jointly by Inpi and the European office of patents. The organizations discussed biodiversity protection at the meeting. (AB)
