Brasília, 1 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Brazil, Mexico and Argentina will sign two important agreements at this week's Mercosur summit in Buenos Aires. The presidents of Brazil, Fernando Henrique Cardoso, and Mexico, Vicente Fox, will sign an agreement on preferential tariffs involving 790 products, which will boost bilateral commerce (worth US$2.5 billion in 2001) and trade between Mercosur and Mexico, as well.
With Argentina, Brazil will sign an automotive agreement, extending one that expired on May 29, increasing Argentina's auto exports to Brazil, which will rise from 50,000 to 140,000. (AB)
