São Paulo, 27 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa) closed trading Tuesday dropping 1/10s of a percent, with the Ibovespa index registering 13,963 points. A total of 62,343,576 stocks were traded, in the value of R$ 730,612,000 (approx. US$ 305.3 million).

The commercial U.S. dollar rate was posted on the São Paulo currency exchange at R$ 2.394 for purchase and R$ 2.396 for sale. (MW)
