Brasilia, 27 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Minister of Justice Aloysio Nunes Ferreira participated Tuesday of the symbolic delivery of 9 vehicles with cells, to be used for the transport of prisoners in Brazilian states. In all, 94 such vehicles will be delivered by the end of this month to all states. The government spent R$ 5.62 million (approx. US$2.4 million) on the project financed by the National Penitentiary Fund. Minister Ferreira said that the project is part of the program for the reequipping of the entire Brazilian prison system.
