Rio de Janeiro, 26 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - With funding of some R$400,000 (US$165,000) for a two-year period, Petrobras, Fiocruz and the Bioamazonia Social Organization will tackle one of the biggest prolblems in the petroleum industry: the corrosion of metal tubing. According to Petrobras, a domestic solution, in the form of Brazilian technology, is being sought which would use vegetable greases from Amazon plants.(AB)
