Rio de Janeiro, 26 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Petrobras is now the world's 12th biggest oil company, according to the Petroleum Intelligence Weekly (PIW) magazine survey based on data for the year 2000. This latest ranking places Brazil' Petrobras above KPC of Kuwait, and the Americans Chevron, Texaco and Conoco, as well as the Italian ENI.The world's biggest oil company is Saudi Aramco, followed by Venezuela's PDVSA and Exxon Mobil.

The PIW ranking uses the following data: oil reserves, gas reserves, oil production, gas production, refining capacity and volume of sales. (AB)
