Brazilian steel company to supply iron ore to Polish plants

Warsaw (Poland), 26 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Vale do Rio Doce steel company signed yesterday, in Warsaw, Poland, a letter of intentions with the Polish Huta Katowice and HTS steel corporations for the supplying of up to 2.5 million tons of iron ore a year, for a period of 10 years. The contract signed by the president of Vale do Rio Doce, Roger Agneli, represents an approximate income of US$ 400 million for the Brazilian steel company throughout the next 10 years. (MW)
