Brasília, 22 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - After paying off a US$2.4 billion debt with Brazil, Poland says it wants to expand bilateral trade which is presently at US$400 million annually. This announcement comes as president Cardoso prepares to arrive in that country on February 24 to sign agreements on plant and animal sanitation, an important step toward strengthening Brazilian plant and animal exports to that country. Besides farm produce, Poland is interested in aircraft. Last year the Polish carrier Lot bought 12 Embraer jets. (AB)
