Brasília, November 14, 2002 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Secretary of Human Rights at the Ministry of Justice, Paulo Sérgio Pinheiro, reports that the government has already identified the main routes and agents in the traffic of women and adolescents for sexual exploitation and others used for slave labor. "We have a complete map of the situation," says Pinheiro.
He added that the government's position is to consider human traffic a matter of human rights, an area where Brazil is the forefront on the international stage. Pinheiro also said that cooperation with European nations is essential because that is the destination of the traffic from Brazil. (AB)
