Brasília, Novevember 14, 2002 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The National Social Security Institute (INSS) reports record revenue of R$6.091 billion (US$1.7 billion) in October. Cumulative net revenue for the year is up 12.94% over the same period in 2001, reaching R$55.124 (US$15.2 billion).
According to the coordinator of Fiscal Action Management, Guilherme Scandelai, the goal for this year is revenue of R$ 70.9 billion (US$ 19.6 billion). "We are almost there. We have to implement policies which will keep our revenue rising," he said. (AB)
