Lula says biodiesel program will be bigger than Proálcool

Brasília – Speaking at a ceremony for the placing of the cornerstone of a biodiesel plant in Passo Fundo (RS) yesterday, president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva declared that in the future biodiesel will be bigger than the country's sugarcane-based ethanol program, know as Proálcool. "And Brazil's ethanol program employs two million people and exports R$ 2 billion annually," said Lula.
