Brasília, March 5, 2004 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Brazil joined the list of countries providing humanitarian aid to Morocco. A Varig flight today to Madrid carried over a ton of remedies to hundreds of people left homeless and injured by the earthquake that occurred on February 24. From Madrid the medications will be transported to Morocco by Air Maroc.

According to a projection made by the Ministry of Foreign Relations, the remedies donated by the Ministry of Health will be used by around nine thousand people, over a period of three months. (DAS)
