São Paulo, March 5, 2004 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Automobile sales fell 2.5% in February, compared with January, according to the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers (Anfavea). 104,785 vehicles were licensed in February, as against 107,425 in January. The decline represented 11.3% in comparison with February, 2003, when 118,176 vehicles were sold. Sales of agricultural machinery grew 5.3% in February but fell 1.4% in comparison with February, 2003. (DAS)
