Rio - Inflation between January 17 and February 16, as measured by the Weekly General Price Index (Índice Geral de Preços Semanal) (IPC-S), which is conducted by the Fundação Getúlio Vargas, was 0.58%, down 0.34 percentage points, compared to the period ending February 9 (when the index was up 0.92%).

Eleven out of the twelve cities surveyed during the period showed a drop in inflation as measured by the IPC-S. (AB)
