Brasília - This morning president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will remain at his official residence, the Palácio da Alvorada, where he is meeting with minister of Finance, Antônio Palocci, and his acupunturist, Gu Hang Hu. The visit by Hu is reported to be routine and not because of a tumble the president took in a game of soccer over the weekend.

This afternoon it is back to work at the Brazilian White House - the Palacio do Planalto - where Lula will meet with Antônio Palocci, Luís Dulci, Jaques Wagner and José Dirceu to discuss the Waldomiro Diniz case. Tonight Lula will hold a meeting with the Saudi Arabian prince, Bundar Bin Sultan. (AB)
