Brasília, 12/4/2002 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - According to a survey by the Union of Civil Construction Industries in São Paulo, building material costs rose 4.95% in November in the state, the biggest price hike in 8 years of the Real Plan. The survey found that certain prices, of items made by groups which have semi-monopolistic control of the market (oligachies), rose significantly over the last 12 months: glass was up over 32%, and cement rose almost 28%.
