Brasília, 21/4/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Following the annoncement that Espirito Santo will joing the Unified Public Security System (SUSP), the government reports that state secretaries of Security in the North region will meet with Luiz Eduardo Soares, the national secretary of Security, to discuss the system. The principal characteristic of the USP is that it integrates action by the federal and state governments in the fight against violence. (AB)
