Rio, 22 (Agência Brasil - ABr) – The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) is on the lookout for corruption stemming from abusive use of economic or political power, says its chief justice, Nelson Jobim. The court, declared Jobim, is committed to enforcing new strict laws which, in cases of corruption or buying votes, can result in the immediate expulsion of an elected official, or prohibit a candidate from continuing a campaign for office.
