Rio, 22 (Agencia Brasil - ABr) – Aracruz Celulose, the world leader in production of whitened cellulose from eucalyptus, has invited president Fernando Henrique Cardoso to the inauguration of its third unit (C Factory) in Aracruz, Espirito Santo, on August 2. A total of US$800 million was invested in the new factory, making it the largest private sector investment in Brazil at the moment.

The C Factory will allow Aracruz to increase production from 1.3 million tons per year to 2 million tons. That will bring its exports to US$1 billion annually, strengthening its position as one of Brazil's top five manufactured goods exporters. (AB)
