Government will implant development projects in poor areas

Rio de Janeiro, 1 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) will provide technical assistance for the Ministry of National Integration's Social Economic Development Projects in poor areas of the country. FGV has received R$700,000 (US$295,900) for the work which will last a year and identify the greatest needs of Brazilians who live in those areas. According to minister Ney Suassuna, of National Integration, the government will develop activities to reverse the misery in those areas. (AB)
