Brasília, 1 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Air Force reports that it has received tender offers for light transport aircraft (CL-X) to be used in its program to strengthen control of Brazilian air space. A decision is expected by September.The aircraft will be used for various types of transportation, medical evacuation and search and rescue.

The following companies submitted tender offers: EADS/CASA, of Spain, LMATTS, an American- Italian consortium and Rosoboronexport, a consortium from Russia and Ukraine. (AB)
