Brasília, 27 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Vice president Marco Maciel says that reforms of the judicial system and taxes should be voted on by congress even though it is an election year.
"Historically, congress works less during election years. But it is working this year and I hope it will move ahead with these matters," said Maciel, praising the fact that last year congress approved a total of 30 constitutional amendments. However, the vice-president said he was sorry the political reform bills did not pass, because they could be effect for this year's elections. (AB)
