Justice secretary defends bill on human traffic

Brasília, 27 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Justice secretary, Elizabeth Sussekind , says that the new bill on prevention and combat against human being traffic, which consists of joint action by the public and government, is viable. "We are investing money in this and we have a partnership with the UN Office for Control of Drugs and Prevention of Crime (UNODCCP).

According to Sussekind, the situation in Brazil requires fighting this kind of organized Crime. Besides, she says, "we know that sexual tourism is on the rise in Brazil and that is a cause of concern." (AB)
