Brasilia, 28 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade Sergio Amaral declared Wednesday - when lecturing at the 12th Brazilian Congress of the Confederation of Commercial Associations of Brazil, in Brasilia - that the government isn't considering limiting imports, but wants to enable exports to expand even more in order to achieve a trade surplus.

According to Amaral, in order to get Brazilian exports to grow increasingly more, it's necessary to take care of the 3 basic pillars of this activity: taxation, financing and logistics. Amaral declared still that he has never seen, "in any nation of the world, such a complicated process as in Brazil to get a new product exported". He added that the government has been endeavoring tenaciously to untie this "knot", which compromises Brazilian exports. (MW)
