Oxford, November 15, 2002 (Agencia Brasil ABr) - President Fernando Henrique Cardoso spoke with British prime minister Tony Blair yesterday on the telephone. Blair expressed interest in a meeting with president-elect Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

Cardoso and Blair also discussed the question of Iraq, and an expanded UN Security Council where Brazil is to have a seat. (AB)
