Brasília - Late this afternoon, president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will travel to São Paulo where he will meet the president of Argentina, Néstor Kirchner for talks and dinner. The two presidents will discuss regional integration and electricity sharing and exchange projects. Brazil's ministers of Foreign Relations, Celso Amorim, and Mines and Energy, Silas Rondeau, along with Argentine officials, will participate. Lula and Kirchner will spend the night in São Paulo.
Tomorrow, still in São Paulo, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Néstor Kirchner will be joined by the president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez. They will discuss a gas pipeline project that would link all three countries and cooperation in the military industrial sector.
Lula, Kirchener and Chavez have been holding regular, frequent meetings. This is their fourth get together in a little more than a year.
