Brasília, April 22, 2004 (Agência Brasil) - Social inclusion and cooperation programs to fight poverty, trade, investments, and competitive insertion in the international economy are some of the themes that will be discussed at a meeting between representatives of Brazil and Central American countries within the scopé of the Central American Integration System (SICA). The event will take place this Friday (23) in Guatemala.
The agenda of the meeting of Ministers of Foreign Relations from the SICA states will also deal with regional integration processes, the strengthening of multilateralism, and cooperation in areas like public administration, sustainable development, and the war against drug trafficking.
The Brazilian Minister of Foreign Relations, Celso Amorim, is already in Guatemala, where he will meet with the President of that country, Oscar Berger, and the Chancellor Jorge Briz Abularach.
