Brazilian GDP reaches R$1.1 trillion

Rio - Brazil's GDP reached R$1.1 trillion in September of this year. Out of that total, R$992 billion was in goods, and R$117.8 billion in taxes on goods.

Family consumption reached R$635 billion, government purchases R$200 billion, capital formation R$199.6 billion, goods and services R$40.8 billion and stock variations R$33.9 billion.

There was a trade surplus in services in the third quarter of R$16.8 billion, up R$2.7 billion over the second quarter. And although there was a drop of R$1 billion in investments during the same period, Brazil paid out less R$5.5 billion in interest payments. (AB)
