Rio, 6/18/2003 (Agência Brasil – ABr) – In May Petrobras daily domestic average production reached 1,537,000 barrels. With a daily average of 159,316 barrels produced abroad, Petrobras total daily average production closed out the month at 1,696,914.

Petrobras natural gas production in May reached 51.6 million cubic meters (37.1 million cubic meters in Brazil and another 14.5 million abroad).

Compared to April, total gas and oil production in May was up 7%. (AB)
