Brasília, 1/9/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The president of Argentina, Eduardo Duhalde, will make a "working visit" to Brazil on January 14. According to the Ministry of Foreign Relations, the visit was scheduled when Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva visited Buenos Aires on December 2, as president-elect.
Duhalde will meet with Lula. That meeting will also be attended by Brazilian and Argentine ministers involved in bilateral relations between the two nations. The intention, according to Itamaraty, is to deepen and expand those relations into new areas. Mercosur will be one of the topics of discussion. (AB)
