Brasília, December 2, 2002 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - A mission of technical experts from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the World Bank disembarks in Brazil today to discuss the participation of each of these institutions in the Zero Hunger Program, which will be implanted by the administration of president-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The mission is headed by Andrew McMillan, director of the FAO in Rome (Italy). The group will remain in Brazil until December 10, to analyze the program and visit states in the Northeast and South of the country. (DAS)
