Brasília, 28 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Minister of Justice, Paulo de Tarso, participating yesterday in the opening of the National Seminar Against Piracy and Contraband - a proposal for Citizenship, declared, "The situation is serious, mainly because of the connection with organized crime. Piracy looks like a small crime, but it is not. It steals from the intellectual author, from consumers and the economy." He also announced that the Federal Police and the Brazilian IRS (Receita Federal) will join forces and intensify their efforts against piracy and contraband. (AB)
