Campo Grande, April 14, 2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - On Saturday (12), the Minister of Transportation, Anderson Adauto, affirmed, in Mato Grosso do Sul, that the main programs to be developed by the Ministry are the recuperation of federal highways (two-thirds are in need of repair) and the conclusion of various unfinished highway projects. "The previous Administration left a R$ 1 billion debt in the area of transportion. As these projects are a priority for the Present, we shall renegotiate the debts with the contractors and conclude the projects," he explained. (DAS)
