Brasília, 3/24/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Forest Products Laboratory (LPF) has taken its "Brazilian Wooden Musical Instruments" project to the World Music Fair in Frankfurt, where instruments made from Amazon rainforest wood are being presented. The wood used to make the instruments is grown in managed, sustainable forests.

The LPF is run by the Brazilian Enviromental Protection Institute (Ibama) and will also present its exposition at the Nann Fair in Los Angeles, next January. (AB)
